Who it is for
Private lessons are the default at Pavlov's Pooch because most skills fail in the exact doorway where they are needed. If you want coaching in a Chestnut Hill kitchen, a South Philly stoop, or a Newtown cul-de-sac, this is the format. It is also the right format when the dog is shy, the household is complicated, or you do not want an audience. Families who can practice ten focused minutes most days get the most from this path. If your calendar cannot hold that, we will say so and talk about board and train or a slower cadence instead of selling you eight unused visits.
What happens
Each visit is about 75 minutes. We train the dog and we coach the handlers. That second part is why private work is faster than handing you a PDF. We watch your timing. We move the treat to the right hand. We notice that one person in the house opens the door like a celebration and the other like a fire drill. You choose the location that matches the goal. Door manners happen at the door. Leash work happens on the block you actually walk, including the corner with the delivery trucks. If we need a quieter first session, we start inside and step out when the dog is ready. Travel across Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Chester Counties is included for most addresses. Far edges of the map may include a trip note, which we mention before you pay. Between lessons you get written homework and text support for videos. We would rather correct a sloppy sit on Wednesday than let it harden until the next appointment. Maya, James, or Elena stays as your trainer so you are not retelling the story every week.
Timeline
Starter (four lessons) fits a single, clear goal. Progress (eight lessons) fits adolescence, combined manners, and many behavior cases. Some households then drop to monthly tune-ups.
